Skeleton Coast Camp
Skeleton Coast Camp was burnt down by fire in November 2011 and is closed until further notice. A new camp on the Skeleton Coast is being built and will open shortly. It is built on an island in the dry Khumib riverbed, about 20km inland from the coastline. Each of the 6 tents is large, roomy and has a en-suite bathroom. Because of the uniqueness and vastness of this area, most activities are done in 4x4 vehicles that are closed to the elements. This accomodation is booked on 4,5 or 8 day packages due to the remote location. N$5461 - N$5772
